It's been a while my dear friends~ I finished my month long practice teaching placement at a high school as a student teacher, and had 2 weeks to take care of business. I then decided to enroll myself in a teacher course so I can be qualified to teach ESL. My goodness, its a super intense 3 week long course, all day, every day...kinda wish I took a longer break.
Anyway, I will do some quick updates!
My brother's friend was going to this event, and he asked if I could come along to learn a few things:

"Empowering, supporting and engaging Asian American women to succeed as professional and personal leaders as well as contributing to their communities and cultures."
There were 3 speakers at the event, all highly successful entrepreneurs:

Cindy Kwong- General Manager and active business partner at Howard Jewellers
Tina Lee- Director of Strategy & Operations, at T&T Supermarket Inc.
Emily Chung- Owner of autoNiche Women’s Auto Repair Service
The speakers were very inspirational. Being an Asian female in a Western Society can have its challenges. It was really nice to meet successful Chinese-Canadian women working hard and doing well. Makes me feel like I can do it too!
Hal and I, and I also bumped into a friend Oliva! <3

Notice the Mary Kay bag in my hand: I won one of the doorstopper prizes!! I never win these things, I was soo excited! Of all the prizes, I won Mary Kay Cosmetics ^______^ How nice, Im a total make up addict!
It was a great night and I sure learned a whole lot! There are still many things that are undecided, lots I want to do, some plans, some things up in the air... still need to figure out what I am doing and where Pinc Stuff is going.
xoxo
